Hoisting and assembly works, whose purpose is to move the load, place it at a fixed position, giving to the assembly crew, assembly or disassembly a station or a combination of these tasks using devices to suspend the cargo outside the airframe.
Classification of flights:
A) Due to the nature of the task:
Category I – crane – displacement of the load from point to point without precise placement on a particular workstation
Category II – assembly – displacement of the load from point to point with a precise placement on a particular workstation.
Category III – long-term assembly – displacement of the element from the point to the point where the precise placement of a fixed position from a long-standing droop (above 5 min). This work also includes work with a fitter sitting on a special platform outside the helicopter and performing specific assembly and repair work.
B) Due to the height above the ground (AGL):
Category N – low – displacement up to 50 m AGL
Category S – medium – displacement 51 – 100 m AGL
Category W – high – displacement above 100 m AGL
C) Due to the weight of the suspended cargo:
Category L – weight of suspended element up to 75% of helicopter lift capacity
Category C – Weight of suspended element above 75% of helicopter lift capacity without exceeding operating limitations
