Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the market leader in the design, manufacturing and service of helicopters, for both military and commercial uses. Part of the company responsible for  commercial helicopters is known as Sikorsky Global Helicopters. Most of the products are designed for military uses, especially the US. Navy where Sikorski shares nearly 50% of the supplies.

The company is an aviation pioneer.  Established in 1925 in the United States by Igor Sikorski, an Ukrainian immigrant and genius engineer, it was the first world supplier of mass-produced helicopters, with R-4 model launched in 1942.  Four years later SAC initiated the supplies of S-51, the first commercial helicopter ever.

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is now incorporated in United Technologies Corporation, supplying an extensive range of state-of-the-art  military and commercial helicopters, together with Schweizer Aircraft Corp. Aircom recognise it then as a great honour to represent Schweizer brand in Europe.
